What's the difference between the clipper finishes?

Cosmetic only. Matte black, silver, and gold all run the same 7,000 RPM brushless motor and the same Japanese-steel taper blade. Pick the one that looks right in your station.

How long does the battery actually last?

Working barbers get 6–8 hours per charge on full-power fades. Plug it in for 15 minutes during a break and you've got another 90 minutes of cut time. USB means you charge it with the same cable as your phone.

How does this compare to the top name brands?
